Homecoming?
We are now already more than a month in Austria. And finally I want to connect it to create your trip reports. Although we continue to finish the move. We are indeed a few months now safe to live here in Austria, but also on its way to Britain, so we will. And so everything still feels like travel, things still packed in the basement - we pick up only the bare essentials, living in a temporary house of my mother, the future uncertain.
The main reason for our momentary existence is the baby who is with us traveled to my stomach to the world, and now wants to be born in maybe two weeks. Yes, so I was often poor in Mexico, so have We rented a car and us in New Zealand so it has been around for some time, no full body photos from me. We wanted to upset anyone, it's already crazy enough to travel with two small children around the world, but then with three ...
me it was very good but all the time that has ups and downs in China's rice terraces shown me but towards the end of the trip my limits and then moved forward Rueckreisetermin has fitted perfectly.
The boys are looking forward to it already want to call it Bawawa (Quentin finally called himself Wawa and Caspar Cawawa).
Coming back was very friendly. We first 3 weeks left in England lived with friends and was very, very nice. A beautiful old house in a cute little village and the easiest, most comfortable family that you can imagine. Mild June weather, everything's in bloom, many walks, many friends and relatives made. Jeremy has explored employment opportunities and Quentin has celebrated his second birthday and for the first time the names of people outside the nuclear family (Mom, Daddy, Cawawa) learned. Strange customs witnessed in this foreign land (throwing eggs over long distances each other, parents befetzen with wet sponges, small furry animals run in a race tubes can be visited Pubtreffen of steam engines of all kinds ,...), weddings, Caspar has its first cave exploring, and yes, we had a very nice time. Since it could be live.
So I flew to Austria with the boys and we have received from my family moving at the airport. It was kind of weird to be back here. Caspar expressed my feelings when, after the passport control ("Oiso wöcha is now the Quentin?") Surprised said: "Now people have for 6 months, so many languages spoken to us and suddenly they're talking returned to Austria with us!"
What is wandering around the remains of almost 7 months? Using OVERSEAS keyboards left me now permanently rewrite umlauts and z and y confused.
Caspar asked in the first weeks or sometimes if the water on the line drinking water really is.
Yes, many different views and ways of life have gained a lot. The big wide world is closer to us. Problems and challenges of other people, we have experienced first hand.
Quentin and Caspar have, I believe, a more intense sibling relationship and we have generally recovered as a family very much. So much time you spend otherwise hardly together.
We have learned how little you really need and what constitutes the contentment. How long we keep this knowledge well?
We have recognized that it is possible to go away simply to just make something different, even as a family. That which we often hold back can be overcome. We have within us a new freedom found.
