Garmin Mounting Bracket

Tuesday, 30 March 2010 - Mumbai Day 1, passport not there at night Devesh

I woke up sometime in the morning, outside it was still dark and the bus had taken for another break. I decided the time to visit the toilet to use. As a toilet was free, I was glad to finally be back from the toilet down, because it was dark and full of mosquitoes. I do not know how many mosquito bites I had been captured in the short term. Back in the bus I fell asleep again and when it was light outside, I woke up again and dozed a little in front of me. In the distance, I took a long mountain chain, where we drove along for a while. This mountain chain was already near to Mumbai and took up purely to Mumbai. The whole bus ride from Udaipur to Mumbai was to last about 14 hours, which was faster than the train, since the intermediate stations and the change trains accounted for.
construction in India and vice:

But our bus ride took 16 hours and I rather annoyed me a bit that I got a full 2 hours later in Mumbai, after all, I wanted absolutely to the Consulate General in Mumbai.
The bus conductor, I said that I needed to go to Victoria Terminal (CST), but the bus conductor and the bus driver seemed to me not to have understood and wanted to drop me off at the airport. I explained once again explicitly that I would like to CST, and then they told me that breaks forth not there, I can take a taxi there. A taxi was too expensive, since I am sure would cost Rs 350 to the CST and the money I did not spend it. Once at the terminal, they told me that I had to get out and should take a taxi to CST. I complained just before I came and totally misunderstood. A taxi driver asked me where I had to and I confirmed the price of Rs 350 to the CST. Another passenger helped me finally get off the bus further by me to the nearest train station took, where we classifying us in the long queue. The train ticket from here to the CST cost me for a 30 minute drive just 7 Case You advised me to train on 2 to take the platform, because the will arrive faster with fewer stops at the CST.
After I was finally a ticket in hand, I went to the platform above, where a train just drove off. The next train was certainly in a few minutes that felt like an eternity. I was under time pressure is not on time during the opening times of the Consulate General to get there. The ride also took longer than the scheduled 30 minutes, because we waited before entering the CST on the entry permit. Even the slower train that had left before that overtook us eventually. So I looked at the open doors standing me the track area with all the garbage and the garbage-collecting people working it sometimes seemed even to live. Finally at CST, I wanted to give up my backpack at the baggage room. For this I got a form that I filled in order to have it stamped at the security checkpoint for screening my luggage. Then return to the baggage room, I gave the bag closed and paid Rs 10 could now I run a few things to the General Consulate, which seemed to me totally away.

So I got to about a third of running around a bus that went exactly to Nariman Point. That cost me another Rs 5 while, but it was worth to me, because I was saved much time and energy. After I had found the "Hoechst House" building with the General Consulate, where I was at the beginning of my journey already walked past unconsciously, I went in the 10th Floor and asked if my passport has arrived. Of course it was not yet there and that made me really nervous now. I had now now only the morrow, to my Passport recover. I gave the Lord, who was fortunately a very friendly German, the mobile phone number of Devesh, because I wanted to meet me later with this. With the prospect of
expected tomorrow to take my passport in reception can, I went outside to Nariman Point and found not far from a phone, which I called Devesh. I explained to him my current situation and he said there would be no problem if I would be spending the night with him. For that we would later call again if anything would be better for him. The free time I took advantage and moved through the area of Mumbai, where I once again to the promenade by the sea near the Nariman Point was where I had sat right at the beginning of my journey at sunset. Half an hour later I called again Devesh, who now had more time. I should be against 17-17.30 Clock at Vashi station, so he can pick me up there. The remaining time I used it to continue to run through the district and Mumbai Colaba. So I took a few more images of beautiful buildings,

until I have finally arrived at the CST, which I also took some photos.

There I bought a ticket to Vashi, picked up my big backpack and took one of the next train to Vashi. The train was not quite empty, so I got a seat. Here, much to me that the trains in 1 and 2 Class are divided and have an additional women's section, which is very polite towards women. The journey from Mumbai and then over a long bridge, in addition to the Vashi Bridge (road bridge) led across the sea. I wanted to take pictures of the stunning views, was reluctant but agreed with my decision and as I had to take a picture, we were already on the other side at Vashi station. There I found the station exit rather quickly and looked for Devesh. I was now only that we had identified no exact place on the large train station. I called Devesh again, who was still on the road and said that he gets the same.
little later I saw a motorcycle pass in which I was very sure that it was a 600cc machine, as it not only looked like this, but by sound. When I tried to look a specific, they drove on, unfortunately. Devesh came shortly thereafter with his moped on which he took me up to him. We were a long time on a moped on the road and came up to him including his past work. The trip by motorbike was great and I liked it because Devesh has a very calm style of driving and we passed more than a moped with a car and between the other vehicles. We passed a mountain range, and these were crossed by an estimated another half hour at his home. There I showered me only once, so I finally felt better again. Then I got to know his family, got some delicious sweets to nibble, a delicious dinner and was told by Devesh that the Consulate General had called him because my passport had arrived this evening. I was excited about the message and was relieved because I now only need to pick up the passport tomorrow.
Devesh lives in a very upscale residential area. Directly opposite the apartment there is a building with sports equipment, a swimming pool and much more for the residents. On the balcony of apartment Devesh blew a fresh breeze, which made it very pleasant. Generally found I put it in Mumbai pleasant than in Rajasthan, because it was not so hot here, even if it was for something more humid air. The swimming pool and weight room, I looked at with a relative of Devesh, until it came down with his family. Then we all went in the car purely on the Vashi Bridge to Mumbai. Devesh had for the use of certain highways to pay fees in order to get around when you are traveling by moped. In addition to the control station is just so much space to a moped to drive it over, as if it is created just for the mopeds. Devesh apartment is indeed far from the Colaba district, but still belongs to Mumbai, what with so me of the great distance impressed.
Devesh went with his family and me to a temple which is adorned with bells complete. I felt a bit tired but very comfortable. At the temple was already a long queue in which we would certainly have to wait two hours. First, Devesh was looking for a car park and after we had found one, he bought his family and bells that you hang on the temple. In the meantime, I bought a drink and soy milk that I had discovered. Then we walked through the exit to the temple. I believe that we were at Madhu Park in Mumbai, where exactly according to the Internet is such a temple hung with bells. Devesh and his wife had no way to the temple itself to go to cast their bells and gifts. Your child and her small child had a special role because they are so young. The child was conducted by a competent person by the hand to the bell and handing over the infant was then placed on the arm to the bell handover. The parents had to wait a while, but were very happy. This temple is visited by people, if you get a wish and that wish has come true. Then thanks with this gift to the gods or God. Then we went
back to the car and drove to a place known by the sea in Mumbai, where many food stalls stood side by side.

There we went to the beach and Devesh some delicious special dishes / snacks bought. First, so I tried them and also because he and his wife had an appetite to it. The sea was not really clean and there was a lot of flotsam around. I experienced as a child by repeatedly pleaded with the guests and was then chased by the shopkeepers. It then ran away screaming after a few minutes and came back again in order to taste the same again. After I had eaten crickets, or the like, we will get back into the car and drove back home. We were all tired and I was especially glad when I lay in bed that I shared with the relatives of Devesh.
